We use advanced techniques & diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the issue(s). Please note we charge a diagnostic fee. However, if we cannot find the issue, we will waive the diagnostic fee & only assess a service fee. You can find a small sample of the problems we have resolved for our customers down below. We regularly provide assistance to automotive repair shops and dealerships in the area which is why an appointment is highly recommended, since we may not be at our location on any given day.
We offer oem module programming for the majority of the manufacturers. In addition, we also perform component level repair of key fobs, engine computers, etc.

Sal is outstanding. My relatively new car was struggling to start, all the classic signs of a dead battery. Both AutoZone and my roadside assistance service tested it and told me the battery was fine, pointing to the starter or other issues instead.
Sal diagnosed it as the battery. Not only that, he went above and beyond by thoroughly checking for anything else that could be affecting the car, including a parasitic drain test. He replaced the battery the same day, then came back a week later for a follow-up , running additional tests just to make sure everything was working properly.
He never rushed, took the time to explain everything clearly, and didn’t leave until every question was answered and I was fully satisfied. I’ll absolutely be calling Sal for any car issues in the future.

Incredible experience! Sal is the Man! About a month ago my car (Toyota Scion Tc) started throwing a persistent P0500 check engine light code. Symptoms are a fluctuating Rpm needle and slight hesitation/stalling from the transmission @ moderate to higher speeds. Already being 'hands on' with my car and giving it the parts cannon (2 Front wheel speed sensors, ABS Skid Ctrl Module and 2 Transmission speed sensors) with NONE successful, I decided to get a professional diagnosis. Found Next Level Auto online, and set up an appointment with Sal. Not only was he very respectful of my own insight/hands on with my car, he also took me step by step through the entire process by phone, as he ran the Computer Tests. And he was able to pin-point the Speedometers OUTPUT as the problem. Likely from an intermittent (Internal) circuit failure happening inside the Speedometer unit itself, requiring replacement. I NEVER would've figured this out myself if it weren't for Sal's extensive testing! And I can now start getting my Car back on the road Lol. Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU Sal. This gentleman solved the problem of my BMW X5 that 5 mechanics were not able to solve. It was a crank no start, and it would not fire up, no matter what we tried. Sal was diligent and step by step addressed the spark issue and then the fuel issue. Car had to be computer synchronized. Thanks very much for your help.

Had the pleasure of meeting Sal today, as I was face with an issue due to my car not starting. Unfortunately I’ve let the aftermarket fog lights on over night and did not remember to turn the switch off. Thankfully Sal came through, no delays as I was close by and got my car back and running again with a jump start, measure battery specs and told me I’m good to go, I did drive it also as recommended by Sal for the battery to recharge. Just came back from a 40min drive and I have peace of mind. Thank you Sal, I will definitely recommend you.

Saul troubleshooted the electrical issue and then found the culprit wire that was broken. He spliced the wire, tested it and confirmed that the lights were functional. Cool guy and he took his time to make sure the system was good in the end!

Sal is great and very knowledgeable. Called on a Monday night and he showed up the next day early morning. I had a stuck hex bolt under my exhaust brace that was very badly stripped and almost impossible to get out. Sal diagnosed it and got it out in ten minutes. He is also a great guy to talk to for general auto advice. Thank you Sal!

Remote service. The meeting point indicated in the Google location is correct. Problem with my Alfa Romeo Stelvio: all tail lights going off after 10 seconds of turning the car on, would work fine if car was off. Sal collected all info before the appointment ruling out ahead of time things that were unlikely to cause the issue. When we met he ran a few tests and with a high degree of confidence indicated that the problem originated with the battery. We changed it and sure enough the problem was fixed. Sal is highly intelligent and follows a clear process in his diagnostic, conducts due diligence ahead of time eliminating unnecessary waste of time and money. I am glad I found this business - thanks to Google reviews and will call Sal again if I ever run into additional issues.

My driver side door indicator was going off while it was closed and as a result, was ringing non stop. I called Next Level to see if they could do anything about it and explained thoroughly what I thought the problem was. He came the next day and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. Had an engine light due to a faulty O2 sensor that after replaced never came off, Sal upgraded the ECU and bada bung no more engine light and finally got inspected. Sal is a great mechanic and a better human being. Thank Sal.

I had issues with my oxygen sensor codes and my mechanic changed the sensor but it kept coming back, then I found Sal and he finally diagnosed the exact issue which was actually the air fuel ratio sensor. I changed that and that issue was finally resolved. He is the best guy with your auto electric & mechanical codes.

I received outstanding service through Next Level Auto. I was having issues with my car shutting off while I was driving. I called Next Level where I was instructed on how to check my oil and it was determined that I didn’t have oil or it was extremely low either way it wasn’t in its best interest for me to drive the car in its current state. I was told to buy oil from the nearest gas station and put it in my car I immediately notices a difference and was able to drive my car back home and more importantly get my children to school. Not only that I received follow up calls and texts insuring that I was good and able to drive moving forward. Truly unforgettable and above satisfactory service!!!!! I know who to call if I’m ever in need with help for my vehicle!!!

When I noticed I had to press the gas pedal extremely hard, and the car barely moved forward. I found Next Level Auto from google reviews and called Sal and explained the situation. He immediately informed me how dangerous it was and came to my aid right away. After thoroughly inspecting the car, he assessed the situation and presented possible solutions. I went to Sal with an engine light on my dashboard. It was close to 8:00 pm on a weekday. Sal was quick to see me since I was close by. The car showed no significant issues, but he found out that the car is burning oil way faster than it should. He provided a quick solution to my issue. He also plans to work more on my car.

Just want to say thank you Mr. Sal for helping me take off the oil filter housing on my Lexus Gx 460. The dealer had overly tighten the housing which made it impossible for me to loosen. I had no idea how you got the job done. But you did with your experience in this field. It was Sunday but you came fast when I called and saved me. Thank you so much again. Sal was great. He truly helped me when no one could. Went to Sal for a check engine problem. Before I went to Sal I took my car to my normal mechanics and her told me the code that popped up was the MAP sensor. So I bought the part and had him install the new MAP SENSOR. A few hours later the check engine light came back on again. Since the same code came up again I figured it would probably be an electrical problem. So thankfully Google landed me at Sals Next Level Auto Diagnostics. Once I got to Sal he test drove my car with me inside and had me explain all my prior issues with my car. He then ran some diagnostics on my car which came up to be my MAP SENSOR. He told me before he switches the part it’s best he sees what’s really going on. So as he did his thorough diagnosis he called and sent me photos of the NEW MAP SENSOR I had my Prior mechanic install. And there was just a bunch of grease/oil on the MAP SENSOR that should not be there. Sal programmed my cars computer after they replaced the throttle body( which I had previously had cleaned out at AAMCO where after my visit with them my check engine light appeared after 2 days of driving)....Afterwards he removed the MAP sensor which was installed incorrectly and cleaned the sensor of the goop they applied.

I had my brakes and rotors fixed by a previous mechanic but it was eroding very quickly. I called Sal to take a look and he was extremely meticulous and spent hours looking at each wheel and rotor. He diagnosed every issue that the previous mechanic messed up on and fixed everything. He made sure to used all products certified for my car specifically and was thorough and efficient. Additionally, he noticed an issue with my gas cap not closing and took extra time to fix the cable and latch at NO additional cost. Amazing experience and very affordable as well, I highly recommend!

After trips to Pep Boys and the dealership, plus buying a new battery, my Honda Hybrid continued to die and require jump starts. Sal diagnosed the keyless entry was screwing up the electrical system, and with that taken care of, the car finally works again! No other mechanic would even check the door sensor, but he pinpointed it right away! Thank you!

I parked my car in queens for 2 weeks as i was going on vacation. It was making weird noise around 10 pm. All auto care shops were closed, next level showed open on google so i called the number. The guy said he was busy somewhere and it was to end of the day, i told him that i have to drive to Pennsylvania and i was nervous. He started asking me questions on the phone told me to run tests, it actually solved my issue. He did not hang up until my issue was solved even he was in middle of something he fixed my issue first. He was very confident with whatever he was doing. Highly recommended, very smart guy, he knows what he does.
